THAT INCLUDES MAINTAINING RECOVERY ~ Well Balanced of Mind, Body, and SOUL ❣💞💓 ~Catherine Townsend-Lyon, Advocate
Step 1 is the key to abstinence and recovery. Stay focused. Accept powerlessness as a gift because you know you cannot gamble. Go to 2 or more meetings each week. Get involved.
You can succeed.

Step to me is the most impostant and the hardest to come to terms and agree to. You have to be ready and willing to accept and admit you are powerless over gambling … Meeting were my support system and being of recovery service is a must and while later maintaining your recovery ….becoming a sponsor is vital to the newcomers! xoxo Recovery Is Possible “-)
Thanks for sharing Dave and congrats. I will celebrate my 13th year in a few weeks 💞🙀😻 Cat

A real wake up call. Be it intentional or not… we have to think about it.

It made me think of my own life right now. It’s very stressful due to finances being extremely tight. Trying to be creative in making income(legally) while also maintaining the standard of my current work. I know all this stress is bad for me and knowing some things are out of my control. I can only pray, right now. For my health and for solutions to my plight.

YES, I too am a penniless writer and author…Lol. You know as I do that God will always provide. Stress is bad and we sure know people, places, and things we have no control over, just our side of the street. And Prayer is always what I do and have a little talk with my Father Above as it always simmers me down from worry… ✝💞✨👑 Cat

You’re exactly right I try not to worry. I think I get into my own head too often.

I can do the same and stay in my head too much. Lol. But through my almost 13-yrs maintining recovery from gambling addiction, I’ve learned not to spend to much time in my brain! Lol. Just live in the now and a day at a time xoxo… Cat

I don’t normally give into worry but my mom died a few months ago and everything is just so different.

OMG! My deepest sympathies for the loss of your mom …And, yes, it sure soes make us feel a little lost as I did when my mom passed in 2003. We seem to think our parents will be with us forever … But know she is home with our heavenly father and I am sure happy to be home until you will be with her in Heaven. Hang in there and keeping you in prayers xoxo Catherine

Thank you for that. I miss her so much. I was thinking about her sweet face today. I appreciate the prayers. She most certainly is home. Xox
